Configuring DSL Service with the SpeedStream 5200
The SpeedStream 5200 is a solution for home or small office networks.
With NAT and DHCP support, the SpeedStream 5200 is a solution for
those wishing to put their network online without the fees associated
with purchasing Network blocks. The following information will cover
the configuration of the 5200 as well as set up of TCP/IP on client
machines.
Before you configure your SpeedStream 5200, you must first configure
your the TCP/IP on your computer to use DHCP.
Configuring TCP/IP to use DHCP for client machines:
Windows 95/98
Windows NT
Windows 2000
Mac OS 8/9
Mac OS X
Once you have finished configuring your computer, you can configure
your SpeedStream 5200. The following screen shots will guide you through
the process.
All of the configuration for your SpeedStream 5200 is done via your
web browser. If you are using Microsoft Windows or Mac OS 9 or older, you
will want to use Internet Explorer. If you are using Mac OS X, then you
should use Safari.
Upon opening your web browser you will need to enter the address of
your SpeedStream 5200.

Simply click the "Login" button on the left hand side.
Next you will be prompted for your username and password. You should
have a capital letter at the beginning of your username, for example
Dusername. If your username does not appear this way, you will need to
check the email message that VISI support sent you. Enter both your
username and password, and click the button labeled "Show Options >>".
Check the box labeled "Auto-Connect on Disconnect" as well as the box
labeled "Save Settings on Connect". Finally, press the small grey button
labeled "Connect".
Give your router about 30 seconds to reboot itself, then click the
link labeled "Home" on the left hand side.
